All data stays on your device. Minua has no accounts, no servers, and no cloud. We cannot see, access, or share any information about your child or their device usage.

Data Stored Locally

• App selections (learning and fun apps chosen by the parent)
• Time bank records (earned and spent minutes per day)
• Schedule preferences (allowed hours, earn-to-spend ratio)
• Parent PIN (stored as a hash, not plaintext)

All data is encrypted via iOS storage when your device locks.

Screen Time API

Minua uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity) to monitor app usage and apply shields. This API runs entirely on-device through Apple's own frameworks. No usage data is transmitted to us or any third party.

Children's Data

Minua is designed for parents to configure on their child's device. All child usage data (time earned, time spent) remains on the device and is never transmitted anywhere. The app does not collect names, ages, or any personal identifiers.

On-Device AI

On supported devices (iOS 26+), Minua can use Apple's on-device language model to generate personalised activity prompts. This processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's Foundation Models framework. No data is sent to any server.

Payments

Minua includes a 7-day free trial. After the trial, a one-time in-app purchase is required to continue using the app. All payments are processed via the Apple App Store. No financial details reach Minua.

Deletion

Uninstalling the app removes all data permanently. There is no server-side data to delete because none exists.
