Handwriting practice for iPad
By downloading or using Pen Licence, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Pen Licence is a handwriting practice app for iPad. It provides stroke-formation feedback, an on-device curriculum, and — when an Apple Pencil is used — pressure coaching. The app runs entirely offline and does not transmit any data.
Pen Licence is designed for children learning to form letters, typically ages 4–8, under parent or teacher supervision. The app collects no personal information from any user and transmits no data. It is consistent with COPPA and GDPR-K principles because it does not collect or process children's data.
The app's stroke-recognition and pressure-coaching feedback is intended as a practice aid, not a clinical assessment. Scores reflect consistency with a chosen letter model and stroke order. Pen Licence does not diagnose handwriting difficulties, motor delays, or any medical condition.
Pressure metrics are computed only from Apple Pencil input. Finger input does not produce reliable pressure data and is silently excluded from pressure scoring. This is by design, not a defect.
Pen Licence is sold as a one-time purchase on the App Store. Apple handles payment, refunds, and billing under Apple's standard App Store terms.
Pen Licence is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Blue Flame Games is not liable for any loss, injury, or frustration arising from reliance on handwriting feedback produced by the app.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
