Cloudmesh is published by Blue Flame Games ("BFG", "we", "us"). We collect as little as possible and we cannot identify you.
Data Collected
Barometric readings — pressure, coordinates, altitude. Retained for 6 hours for the mesh network.
Weather reports — conditions and location. Retained for 24 hours.
Seismic events — acceleration and confidence. Retained for 1 hour. Beta feature.
Push tokens — device token and location for alerts. The precise location (about 250 m) is kept for at most 6 hours; after that only an approximate area (about 10 km) is kept, for up to 30 days, so alerts keep working. Removed when you turn off all alerts.
Location used for weather display is sent only as a coarsened weather lookup and is not stored except as described above. On your devices, your precise location is kept for up to 6 hours; after that only an approximate area (about 10 km) is kept, for up to 30 days, so widgets, your Apple Watch and rain alerts keep updating when you haven't opened the app.

Anonymity
No login is required. Non-persistent random IDs are used. Location is coarsened. Data types are isolated. Data is auto-purged within hours — only aggregates persist.
Push Notifications
Your push token and location are stored on our server only to send alerts for your area: the precise location for at most 6 hours, then an approximate area (about 10 km) for up to 30 days. No identity is linked. Turning off all alerts in the app removes the registration; you can also disable notifications in iOS Settings.
Third-Party Services
Weather data providers receive coordinates only.
Route weather — when you plan a route, Apple Maps works out the route between the places you enter. The app then sends points along that route (about every 20 km, rounded to about 1 km) directly from your device to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) to get forecasts. Only those coordinates are sent: no addresses, no identifiers, no account. Forecasts are cached on your device only. Your route is never sent to or stored by BFG.
"More apps" list — about once a week, the app asks Apple's public App Store lookup service for the current names and icons of Blue Flame Games apps. The request contains only those apps' App Store IDs and your device's two-letter region code, so the right store is used. No personal data or identifiers are sent, the result is cached on your device, and nothing is stored by BFG.
Earthquake and environmental data comes from public feeds.
Apple processes in-app purchases.
None of these requests are used for tracking or advertising, and we do not combine them with any other data.
In-App Purchases
One-time purchases go through Apple's App Store. We do not receive any payment information.
Children
No personal information is collected from any user.
Data Storage
Data is stored in Europe, protected by TLS, private networks, and rate limiting.
User Rights
No personal data or accounts exist, so access, correction, and deletion requests are not applicable. Readings are auto-deleted.
