Common Questions

How do I move and act?

Tap the ground to walk there, or tap a tree, rock, box, crop or person to act on it. Drag anywhere to bring up a joystick for running and fighting. Pick seeds, tools and food from the bar at the bottom.

What do the modes mean?

Peaceful is farming only: no Hollowed, no raids. Survival is the full story: the Hollowed come at night and, later, by day too, and if you fall your dog drags you home. Hardcore is Survival with one life after the dog finds you. You can also choose to play with no story at all.

Is my game saved?

Yes. The game saves at each part of the day and whenever you leave the app. Choose Continue on the main menu to pick up where you were.

What does the purchase include?

The first chapter is free. The Full Hollowstead is a one-time purchase that unlocks Chapters 2 to 5, Peaceful and Hardcore, playing without the story, and every floor of the Callow Deep. No ads, no subscriptions.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the unlock screen (from a locked mode on the main menu, or after Chapter 1) and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple Account you bought it with.

The days feel short or the nights feel long

An in-game day is about fifteen minutes. The clock stops while menus, conversations and the map are open, so you can take your time with them.
